Sometimes, the bears just win! That seems to be the verdict after months of repeatedly repairing a weather station installed among the giant sequoia as part of Save the Redwoods League’s Redwoods and Climate Change Initiative. My researcher colleagues, Anthony Ambrose and Wendy Baxter, installed a wildlife camera at our Giant Forest study site and caught the rascally black bears in action.
