This is my Sammy: the 33 year-old box turtle that has lived with me since I was 4 years old. He loves to eat yam, sit in a warm bath, follow me around, and have the brightest orange spots of anyone in the room. He is unbelievably friendly and my side kick. We grew up together, went to college together, and now are settling into our 30’s working on enjoying life to the fullest even though we aren’t really sure what that means.
